Everyone has a story. We help you share it. From sketches to scarves, stationery and art, your story is yours alone. Together we make wearable heirlooms.
Our silk scarves are 100% pure and come from the UK’s only GOTS-certified organic silk supplier.
Sustainable Luxury
Your scarf is made without harmful chemicals. All water used comes from our partner’s private reservoir, free of chlorine, chloramines, mercury, VOCs, pharmaceuticals, herbicides, and pesticides. Our partners follow our values of fairness and accountability. Production is closely monitored to ensure ethical practices and fair working conditions in the UK and France.

After our 1:1 consultation (Zoom, coffee, or cocktail), Kathy drafts your scarf design for review. You can touch the silk sample. She creates a custom design on iPad or paper. Once approved, Kathy hand-paints the design on archival Arches watercolour paper and send it to my silk manufacturer for production. Kathy guides you on scarf size, motif placement, background, colourways, and finishing.
-
Your hand finished scarf will be ready in about 8 weeks in the size you choose (45×45, 90×90, 135×135 — sizes approximate due to hand finishing). It’s hand-sewn and printed on luxurious 100% silk twill—the same quality used by designer houses.
Kathy has selected Mulberry silk from our GOTS-certified partner after comparing sources in Europe, the UK, India, and China.
-
Your silk twill scarf comes in a luxury book-style box with ribbon closure and archival acid-free paper for long-term preservation. The box meets top sustainability and low‑carbon standards. Store the scarf in it to maintain shape. If discarded, the box is biodegradable, compostable, recyclable, made from recycled materials, and sustainably sourced in the UK.

All scarves are hand-rolled and finished. Therefore the dimensions are approximate and may vary from time to time. Sizes include:
45 x 45 - Pocket square
90 x 90 - Standard scarf size
135 x 135 - This may be creatively worn as a top, a dress, and even a skirt.

Silk is the only natural fibre that produces more oxygen than it consumes, and the mulberry tree - where our silk is derived - contributes towards carbon neutrality. These trees don’t need harmful chemicals or pesticides to thrive. This is one of the reasons I selected silk as my medium for sharing my art and your stories.
You can be rest assured that your scarf is made without harmful chemicals, where 100% of the water used is drawn from our partner’s very own reservoir, which contains no chlorine, chloramines, mercury, VOC’s, pharmaceuticals, herbicides or pesticides. Your scarf is also hand-finished in Macclesfield, where Britain’s textile industry was born.
