Are you ready to meet my new mouse friends?
Every year, since our children were born, I’ve bought them each a Christmas mouse ornament. And every year on Thanksgiving, we decorate our tree. This stationery collection of mice is the evolution of those ornaments and that artwork. I am excited to launch our Soeur Souris stationery on Colour Friday!
Colour Friday
I am thrilled to join Holly&Co’s Colour Friday campaign, where independent designers and shops have received Holly’s official campaign kit to brighten up our delivery parcels. UK shoppers are expected to spend £3.9 billion on Black Friday. Over a third of Britons say that they love independent businesses for our creativity, uniqueness and care undertaken with our products. In support of this brilliant campaign, I’ve offered 20% off of my silk scarf collection.
Where you can find me (for now)
I hope to see you online or in person soon. I am joining Sandrock House’s Late Night Shopping on 11 December (5-8pm), and you can also find my hand drawn and hand painted stationery and silk scarves at these beautiful independent shops:
Choosing Keeping, Covent Garden
Indigo Grey, Dorking
Soeur Souris
Inspired by our family’s world of boundless colour, music, and energy, I have hand painted and dressed my mice in bright complementary hues and vibrant outfits. I am creating a space for them to live beyond Christmas. Energised by my twin girls, these are our fancy pants mice, our sisters - our Soeur Souris. (And a bunny just as my daughter had when she was a little babe.)
Each mouse has a distinct persona and outfit; each is hand painted on Fabriano card with Caran d’Ache watercolours.
I am launching my letterpress offering soon. We will be letter pressing these by hand and hand painting each design. Is there an outfit I need to paint? I have been listening to a lot of Lily Allen - hence the fabulous nod to her album cover outfit, below.
