Storytelling through personalised stationery

Art is my way of sharing stories and lived experience in the most joyful and creative way possible. I painted this series about the people I’ve met since I moved to England. These pieces have been used for stationery, personal branding and for a bit of fun.

Every single one has a story behind them. Let me tell yours.

This is Elżbieta Marylska-Łuszczewska Stanhope, my fabulous fashionista friend. I met her while I waited for my delayed train to Brussels. She was on her way to have a celebratory birthday lunch in Paris and to see old friends. She is an accomplished potter and ceramicist living and still working in London.

We spoke for a while in the departures lounge and she was so lovely. When I asked her for a photo of her jacket she was so gracious, she struck this pose. I instantly liked her.

I later looked at her website elzbietastanhope.com and her work (and wardrobe) is gorgeous, inspired.
