Kathy Kyle Studio turns our most treasured experiences into wearable heirlooms, where fashion, heritage, and personal storytelling intertwine.
We are redefining what it means to get dressed—with joy, meaning, and authenticity at the heart. Our luxury silk scarves and fabric designs are hand painted, sustainably printed in the UK and hand finished in France.
Everyone has a story to tell. We create pieces of wearable art where you can wear your story on your sleeve. Every brushstroke and design shares a story—of identity, heritage, and self-expression—inviting the wearer to embrace their authentic self and redefine beauty and acceptance on their own terms.
Launching our Heritage Collection at Top Drawer London: Celebrate who you are, your uniqueness, your joy and self-expression
Our Heritage Collection is composed of a luxurious selection of ethically and sustainably crafted scarves, conceived and designed by founder, Kathy Kyle. It depicts her personal journey, fusing artistry with sustainability, each underpinned by her Vietnamese and British heritage and having lived in five countries.
"Thank you Kathy for my very gorgeous Moroccan Dreams scarf. I absolutely love it as a special gift from my Dad. I think the idea of wearable sustainable art is fantastic. I love your artistic style and the beautiful colours," says Lucy. "The idea of a bespoke scarf picking out parts of a life lived so far is genius and fun. One day perhaps I will be able to get my own bespoke scarf, in the meantime I will have great pleasure in wearing this one which provides the colours and inspiration of Morocco. I love that you source from ethical suppliers with a really conscious mindfulness to the environment from start to finish. Thank you so much."
The fabrics selected and processes employed have been meticulously selected for their ethical construct, all of which come together in fair working conditions. Her UK-based manufacturing partners reduce the amount of fabric waste arising from its production, with silk scarves created in limited quantities, to minimise wasteful stock surpluses, and eschew ‘fast-fashion’ timescales evident with less-exclusive profit-driven retailers. Her debut Heritage Collection features 14 bespoke silk designs, each inspired by travel, nature, and meaningful journeys.
Bespoke Offering: Create custom wearable art
Beyond the Heritage Collection unveiling at Top Drawer London, Kathy is also offering brands a custom commission offering, where clients can co-create personalised, custom fabric scarf designs exclusively for their brands.
Her clients and stockists choose Kathy Kyle Studio to create bespoke gowns, hand painted clothing, pocket squares, silk scarves, and personal stationery.
"This is such a beautifully thought out, exquisitely crafted piece," says Kate. "I love it so much. Everything from the design process to receiving the beautifully packaged finished article was just perfect. Thank you KK! It’s a one off that will be a treasured part of my wardrobe forever."
“Everyone has a story to tell, and I wanted to create a collection where people feel they can wear art on their sleeve,” says Kathy Kyle, Founder and Artist. “These scarves are an invitation to celebrate our uniqueness, our beauty and self-expression in the most authentic and sustainable way.”
