How we work
- Kathy establishes with our client their fabric design by capturing their unique story. She hand-paints it and turns it into a sustainably printed silk fabric. Select from an established design or create your own.
- Then Felicity takes our fabric and works her magic: she sews a bespoke dress to fit perfectly.
Fashion is evolving, and our clients are looking for bespoke commissions and unique pieces that reflect their personal stories. Kathy Kyle Studio is dedicated to authenticity, legacy, and deeply personal clothing. We only partner with those who share these values. Felicity is a dress alchemist and we love collaborating with her.
Together, we create gowns that are authentically unique and beautiful, like the wearer.

Silk is the only natural fibre that produces more oxygen than it consumes, and the mulberry tree - where our silk is derived - contributes towards carbon neutrality. These trees don’t need harmful chemicals or pesticides to thrive. This is one of the reasons I selected silk as my medium for sharing my art and your stories.
You can be rest assured that your scarf is made without harmful chemicals, where 100% of the water used is drawn from our partner’s very own reservoir, which contains no chlorine, chloramines, mercury, VOC’s, pharmaceuticals, herbicides or pesticides. Your scarf is also hand-finished in Macclesfield, where Britain’s textile industry was born.
