Every commission begins with an idea, a story.
I believe that every person's story deserves to be told, captured in a hand painted design and memorialised in silk. Which is why every design is painted by hand and then ethically printed. Scarves are finished by skilled artisans in Lyon, France while our garments are sewn here in the UK.
Within a year of launching the studio, I was commissioned by the British Museum to reimagine the Tudor Heart, an extraordinary, enamelled gold pendant associated with Henry VIII and Katherine of Aragon, celebrating one of the most remarkable jewels of the Tudor age. I am told that the Tudor Heart Pendant is unlike any object in the British Museum collection or elsewhere in the UK.
I am inspired to create heirloom-quality pieces because I believe that luxury and ethics can co-exist and that my values should not be a trade off for commercial success. Our pieces are sustainably created and meant to be treasured across a lifetime, and passed down to future generations. Not a seasonal purchase, but a wearable heirloom.
Here are some of the inspiring clients and pieces I've created over the past few months.
Juanita Ingram, Esq | Dress for Success Greater London
I collaborated with Dress for Success Greater London created a sarong and twillie for the inspiring Charity Founder, Trustee and thought leader, Juanita Ingram, Esq. This was the most iconic partnership and I am forever grateful to Juanita for her support. I have committed 10% of the sales of every item from our pre-sale to DFS Greater London. Those items have now gone into production and those clients who have ordered will be kept apprised of their garment's lifecycle.
